Women's Health Services

I was raised Catholic so I didn’t know much about sex or birth control. It wasn’t talked about at home. Birth control wasn’t taught in school, abstinence only is what was taught. I got pregnant at 17. I was young, inexperienced and had no money. I knew there was no way I could handle a child. I am thankful every day for Economic Security Corporation’s Women’s   Health & Family Planning Clinic. They gave me information about places and people who can help, education regarding birth control and the meaning of “family planning.” The key word is planning, and I don’t plan to have another baby anytime soon. If I have another baby it will be when I am ready, it will be planned. Thank you again for what you have done for me.
